Clinical Dietary Manager

It is our mission at Summerhill Senior Living Community, to keep all of our vulnerable residents safe! We are seeking a dedicated, and qualified Dietary Manager! The ideal applicant will be hardworking, reliable, detail-oriented, dynamic, and high-motivated. 


Location: Perry, GA


Status

  • Full-Time

Shift

  • 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay Range

  • $20 - $25 per hour depending upon experience

Responsibilities (not all-inclusive)

  • Participates in the clinical patient assessment, development, and implementation of the nutritional plan of care for residents and patients;
  • Visits residents to do initial nutritional screening obtaining food preferences to promote quality food service;
  • Assists with the nutritional education of residents, and families;
  • Works with Dietary Consultant to achieve quality food service and menu planning;
  • Reviews regular and therapeutic diet orders to ensure they are served as prescribed and in accordance with the menu;
  • Works closely with Kitchen Manager;

Requirements

  • High school diploma;
  • Valid driver's license with no significant violations;
  • Must meet all health requirements, including TB and drug screen;
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check;
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment;
  • Previous dietary experience in a long-term care setting preferred;

MUST meet one of the following requirements:

  • MUST be a Certified Dietary Manager; or
  • MUST be a Certified Food Service Manager; or
  • MUST have a similar national certification for Food Service Management and Safety from a national certifying body; or
  • MUST have at a minimum an associate’s degree in Food Service Management or in Hospitality if the course study includes Food Service or Restaurant Management, from an accredited institution of high learning
