Activities Director

Come join our dedicated team of Healthcare professionals in a
warm and caring environment. We are currently seeking a motivated Activity Director! The Activity Director is a key and visible department
manager working directly with all residents and families.
Location: Plains, GA
The Responsibilities (not
all inclusive):
- Planning and implementing activities
to meet the resident's specific needs, to include large group, small
group, and one-on-one participation
- Documenting as required by State and
Federal regulations
- Inputting data on the Minimum Data
Set and participation in plan of care, and other assessments and updates
- Delivering the resident's mail,
newsletters, and other facility information
- Recruitment, retention, and
involvement of volunteers with residents
The Requirements:
- High School diploma or
equivalent;
- Must be able to work weekends
and holidays as needed;
- Valid driver's license in good standing
with the State of Georgia
- Ability to meet all health requirements, including a
drug screen.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- GHCA Activity Director certification is strongly
preferred
