It is our mission at Gracemore Nursing & Rehabilitation to keep all of our vulnerable residents safe! We are a strong 55 bed facility seeking a dedicated, and qualified Administrative RN to join our team to lead our Infection Prevention, QAPI and Staff Education Programs!


The ideal applicant will be hardworking, reliable, detail-oriented, dynamic, and highly motivated. We are a high functioning facility offering superior service to our residents and staff.

Location: Brunswick, GA


Status

  • Full-Time

Shift

  • 8AM - 4:30PM


Pay Range

  • $30 - $38 based on experience


RESPONSIBILITIES (not all-inclusive)


Infection Prevention

  • Assist with the collection of specimens from residents and staff to test for COVID-19 and other infectious diseases
  • Assist with various aspects of infection control including but not limited to educating employees on hygiene best practices, social distancing, and mask sanitation
  • Work in collaboration with the Corporate Infection Prevention Nurse Manager
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Quality Improvement

  • Implements and monitors the organization’s quality improvement program.
  • Ensures there are processes in place to monitor and measure all activities related to performance improvement in all facility departments.
  • Ensures processes are in place to monitor and evaluate safety and risk management programs that impact both patients and staff within the facility.


Staff Education Coordinator

  • Responsible for assisting in identifying training needs; planning, implementing, and evaluating the effectiveness of staff development programs. 
  • This position meets the needs of nursing staff and non-nursing staff with educational programs designed to meet dynamic resident care demands.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with all State and Federal guidelines for in-service education and new employee orientation.


Requirements

  • Possession of a valid Georgia RN license which is in good standing.
  • Ability to meet all health requirements, including a drug screen.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • Prior long-term care experience is preferred but not required.
